Refunds
A 14 day window, no survey, and a plain account of what happens after it closes.
Last updated 16 August 2026
The first 14 days
If Ecko is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first paid charge and we refund it in full. No survey and no friction. This applies once per customer, to a first charge rather than to a renewal.
After that
We do not refund a period already paid for. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the licence runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
If we take something away
If we substantially reduce what a paid licence covers and you cancel within 30 days of that change, we refund the unused part of the period pro rata. Extended outages of a paid service are looked at case by case.
What is not refundable
Periods already elapsed, licences terminated for breach of the EULA, and charges reversed directly with your card issuer rather than with us.
What a refund does to your software
Nothing stops working. Ecko has no kill switch and does not phone home, so a refunded or lapsed licence does not disable anything already installed or deployed. What ends is the permission: new business use may not be shipped under a licence you no longer hold.
How to ask
Email support@ecko.sh from the address on the account, with the plan and the date of the charge. A reason helps us but is not required.
We aim to reply within two business days. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle, usually the next day, and typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
Your consumer rights
If the consumer law where you live gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply. This policy does not replace them.
